Do you ever feel like you know just enough about Blogging to be dangerous? Let’s see if we can fill in some of the gaps with the latest info from Blogging experts. And here it is a detailed guide with 5 Reasons Why Blogging is the New Internet Marketing Tool.
Blogging is a concept that started in the late 90s. It used to be a way to comment on an existing webpage, an opportunity for visitors and readers to react or voice out one’s opinion on the said page.
What started as a single-sentence commentary has evolved into pages of personal take on just about anything and everything under the sun.
As it continues to move forward, online advertising has tapped into the blog’s potential.
Here are 5 reasons why you should use blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
For those that had not yet set up a Blog, here is my personal recommendation on how to do it, before digging into this article. This will help you start the proper way.
Starting a Blog: The Basis
Nobody wants to lose time, no?
Just because of this, it’s better to be fully clear in advance: succeed with a blog and make money blogging is possible, yes. But it is not a “get rich quick” scheme.
You have to try at least the best of your efforts and don’t expect money flowing into your pockets in a glance.
You’ve to find your niche, sponsor yourself in the right way, and promote your blog politely to reach enough audience to perform well.
I am here to help.
Before posting this I tried my best to learn enough for myself and my blog. Applying some useful tips gave me the possibility to fully understand the whole process of starting up with a blog.
Let me tell you that this will be a long post, so just pin it for later if you’re in a rush now, you may want to read it again at a later time.
First of all, the main question: “why someone should want to start a Blog?“… it’s the same question I asked myself before starting.
It’s not a matter of money, or better, not an immediate need when you sort out you maybe need a blog for your passion…
It’s a matter of “exposure” and a way of sharing with others our own personal experience.
For those in my same niche (pet photography), here is a detailed article on how to start a photography blog in 2020.
But now I want to concentrate on the general idea a beginner has about blogging for money.
As I previously said, you will not get rich quick, but surely you can settle some basics to do it passively in the near future!
PLEASE NOTE: the following content can share with you some affiliate links, so make sure to read my disclosure before proceeding.
Will I be Able to Blog?
Many of my readers don’t trust themselves or don’t know their potential at all.
I’m not special in any way but I am doing it… I’m blogging: about my passion, about my skills, about my experience.
That is blogging: sharing our personal experiences hoping them to be useful to someone!
You will hear some excuses not to start a blog, like:
- “I can’t because I’m not skilled enough.”
- “It requires too much work and I have no time for it.”
- “It’s nice, but it’s not worth my time.”
- “I want to. But it sounds too hard.”
I know you’re reading this today because you’re not the person who makes these excuses. You want to start making more money on the side to have financial freedom, talking about what you love.
Make Extra Money By Starting a Blog
As a brand new blogger, you have not to expect to make a lot at the very beginning.
Here’s my first-month blogging income report, for you to have an idea.
But I have goals: I bet at the end of 2020 to be able to make more than $5000/month blogging. And this, believe me, is not impossible as many other bloggers had the chance to prove they do!
But it is important to say that everyone’s blog result is different, depending on how much time and effort they put into growing their blog.
Can You Really Make Money Blogging?
Now, you may be reading and thinking all of this is bogus; many there out will tell you it is impossible to make that amount I bet for only on a laptop and with a blog.
I don’t blame you because I thought the same too.
It honestly never crossed my mind that someone could quit his job to start blogging full-time!
I’m just an average person with a normal passion that has decided to launch into the adventure to see how it goes.
But still starting out and talking to my friends from other blogs, I see they reached successful financial independence.

Is Making Money With A Blog Possible?
As I previously introduced, yes, it is.
I have to admit that starting a blog and making money from it isn’t as easy as how some bloggers make it sound.
However, it is very possible to make a nice amount of money blogging (and with NO prior experience) as long as you set realistic expectations from the start.
But, if you start nice and slow, you will make it!
After blogging for a while, I can personally tell you that making money with a blog is REAL!
And I underline that I’m not special or smart in any way!
Of course, it will be not all sunshine and unicorns, but the struggles and challenges allowed me to learn and grow within my first period of blogging!
Blogging is Simple
The simplest way to get your piece on the net is through blogging.
No skills are necessary an average adult can read and type, or at least click a mouse.
It’s like having a virtual piece of paper and you just write your ideas, experiences, new products, and hope that the truth behind your articles comes out and entice your reader to also try your product. If you have a PC and an Internet connection (who doesn't?) then you can blog and advertise. Blogging is Authentic
In this day and age where advertising saturates our lives, we question the credibility of promoters’ claims.
However, in blogs, real people share their real-life experiences, unscathed by paid advertising.
Reading blogs about first-hand product use is like talking to people about their first-hand experience.
You definitely want to buy a tried and tested product.
In my personal experience, the best and affordable tool I used for growing my blog and learn blogging is:
If you follow this book’s recommendations you will have a win-win-win strategy on your side!
Blogging is Free
Because blogging is yet to be proven as a mainstream online advertising media, most sites see it as something to augment current marketing tools and thus offer it for free.
Any opportunity for free web time is definitely a bonus especially to businesses that are starting up.
Needless to say, paid blog pages can generate more income for your seriously growing business.
Blogging Builds Credibility
As you get more and more into writing your experiences on a particular product or industry, your readers come to realize that they can depend on your posts for their own information needs.
As such, you become an expert on it; as a consequence, more readers visit your site and more bloggers link to your blogs.
As companies and professional organizations notice the growth of your readership base, they may soon get in touch with you for advertising on your blog page, or make you an affiliate, which pays for every referral generated from your blog site.
I recommend learning properly to use a Blog to Monetize.
With the big amount of courses on the Internet, I feel useful to recommend only one of these I personally tested (and actually worked for me!):
Blogging Builds Market
Unless you are a Hollywood star, chances are, only your Mom reads your posts.
Mom has a lot of friends, so she lets her friends know how interesting your blog site is.
But you need not depend on Mom to increase your readership base.
Look into the following ways to build your market through blogging:

Use Your Email
Today, blogging is overcoming the e-mail’s popularity quickly and effectively reaching and expanding a market.
In this age of speed and quick access, logging in and downloading e-mail is simply taking longer than clicking into a blog site.
Let them explore your site by using a short e-mail message as a teaser to your blog site.
If your e-mail is on an entirely different subject, use your e-mail signature to give a link to the site.
An easy way to get your reader’s e-mail is to give them an opportunity to subscribe to your blogsite.
Keep some exclusive information for your subscribers to entice readers to subscribe and give their e-mail address.
Just be responsible in using their e-mail address, as the last thing you want is a comment on your blog that you are a spammer.
My subscribers get special discounts and free tips no one else gets simply reading the blog, so if you want here is my Newsletter form:
Understand Your Readers
Conduct a simple survey for your readers to understand their profile and advertising preferences.
Ask consumers to give you feedback on a post, an ad link, or a trial that you shared.
In this way, it is like interviewing your readers without the commitment and intrusion of a face-to-face interview.
Join Blog Networks
A network of blogs maybe a collection of blog sites that share the same industry, interest, readership base, payment mode, etc.
Consumers find credibility and convenience in clicking one link to several real bloggers about a single subject.
Clearly, more bloggers are better than one.
I personally learnt on how to use Pinterest for my network strategy.
With the help of this ebook, my blog is getting visitors (and I get income)!
RSS is the fastest growing technology on the Internet today.
As such, having RSS feeds to your blog is definitely another means of generating awareness for your readership base.
Having a variety of feeds can add interest to your blog site.
Give your business a boost by effectively using blogging as an Internet marketing tool.
